Every day, children learn the basics of swimming at the Y and enhance their skills with our progressive lessons that turn beginners into experts, polliwogs into sharks. Our kids are having fun, being healthy, learning safety and building confidence all at the same time!

Aquatics Personal Training
Personal Training consists of 60-minute sessions in the pool with a certified Water Fitness Instructor who will design an individualized water exercise program.
The American Red Cross Course includes Certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED essentials, all required to be a lifeguard.
Blue Dolphins Summer Swim Team
Our YMCA summer swim teams are the perfect way to start competitive swimming at any age! Our Blue Dolphins team has won the Southern Piedmont Swim Conference the last two years in a row. The Blue Dolphins swim at the West Cabarrus branch and the Seals swim at the Kannapolis branch.
