High Intensity

Tabata

Tabata is a high–intensity training regimen that produces remarkable results. Each interval training cycle consists of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by ten seconds of rest. The cycle is repeated eight times for a total of 4 minutes per exercise.

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

Training that targets the upper body on Monday and lower body on Wednesday.

YMCAs in Rowan and Cabarrus Counties will Join Together

The boards of directors of the YMCA of Rowan County and Cannon Memorial YMCA of Cabarrus County have voted to merge effective January 1, 2020. The new Association will be called Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA.
