Living healthy is about spirit, mind and body at every age and stage. Our Ys offer classes and programs for those dealing with chronic disease, joint and injury rehabilitation, stress and pregnancy, in addition to health assessments and wellness coaching.
Path to Wellness
The six-week program is designed to provide guidance, encouragement and education to help participants achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Weight check, blood pressure check, and body fat analysis.
Members will receive an initial consultation to discuss exercise history, health history, goals and nutritional concerns. The trainer will work with the member to motivate, educate, make basic nutritional recommendations and provide a varied exercise program specific to the member’s needs.
Active Older Adults
Stay Healthy at Every Age
The Y is the perfect place for active older adults. We have group exercise programs specifically with older adults in mind. We have many fellowship opportunities such as field trips, book clubs, senior dances and more! Take advantage of Silver&Fit® and SilverSneakers® memberships with participating insurance plans.
Just for Kids
Our Ys offer many healthy living and fitness opportunities for youth and teens ages 6-16. If you are looking for a way to channel your kids’ energy or spark an interest in a new activity, try our kids fitness programs.
Atrium Health Partnership
An Atrium Health Wellness Center is located in each Cannon Y branch and is staffed by a Registered Nurse and a Registered Dietitian. Committed to disease prevention, health education and early detection of illness or injury, this team works closely with Y professionals and local physicians to offer clinical wellness services.
