Every day at the Y, children learn to swim. From safety swimming basics to enhanced stroke development, we help beginners become experts. Our kids are learning safety, building confidence, developing healthy habits, and most importantly, having fun!

2019 Fall Swim Lessons Schedule
GROUP SWIM LESSONS
30 Minute Lessons
PARENT/CHILD (3-36 months) | Water Discovery and Water Exploration
PRESCHOOL (3-5 years) | Water Acclimation, Movement, Stamina, and Stroke Introduction
40 Minute Lessons
SCHOOL AGE (6-12 years) | Water Acclimation, Movement, Stamina, Stroke Introduction, Development, and Mechanics
TEEN/ADULT (13 years and up) | Swim Basics and Swim Strokes
LATE REGISTRANTS: An additional $10 will be added to the session cost during the week prior to the start of the session, based on available space.
NO LESSONS ON LABOR DAY AND THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING
*All Monday classes will be prorated $5 due to no class on Labor Day.
Kannapolis will not run lessons during the Fall 1 Session due to pool renovations.

SWIM BASICS- Level 1: Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency.
SWIM STROKES - Level 2: Having mastered the fundamentals, students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
Level 1: Saturdays 8:15-9am
Level 2: Mondays 7:20-8pm
